Client: CMS Australia Project: Website Design & Development

Overview

The Church Missionary Society of Australia (CMS) is a fellowship of Christian people and churches committed to global mission. They encourage people to get involved in cross-cultural mission through one of our six branches across Australia. After undergoing a full rebrand, CMS required a digital presence that reflected the new direction of the brand. We were commissioned to design and build their new website.

What we delivered

CMS is an Australia-wide organisation with state-based branches. The goal of the site was to position CMS as a national organisation, and at the same time inform users of, and funnel them to, their state’s CMS branch, where they can interact with missionaries and make donations. Working very closely with the client at a strategic level, we built an in-depth back end system that allows states to upload and control their own content, create their own news and accept their own donations. At the same time CMS Australia has overarching control of the site, being able to maintain its universal look and feel, and inject content throughout the state’s sites where needed. For the user, this allows them to experience CMS as national brand that also operates at a more intimate state level.
